"My beatific vision", which is the now re-released debut album, goes to the nerve, shakes at the synapses, not only musically mixed up, but also visually - stroboscopic light and max volume do the rest. Where many bands use guitar effects only for the adornment serve, here they are used pretty accurate and sophisticated.

Everything is loud, everything is short before overturning, all on the verge of tinnitus. But in all that there is always a melody - the uncompromising recording brought good old Bieber to his technical limits while cutting! “My beatific vision's” musical journey begins in the middle of the 80, from the look and the overdrive of J&TMC, builds ups some speed in the mid-90s with the heroes of shoegaze and finally comes to a stand in NYC of the 2000s. What may sound like a rip-off quickly emerges as a precise observation on the scene, whose smart building blocks are put together as The Lost Rivers – the three guys from the countryside distill a hypnotic wall of sound without copying.
On their debut these guys seemingly create a playful symbiosis of all these influences build to something new. After "My beatific vision" now being a great success in the UK and sold out quickly also especially never really being available in Germany, This Charming Man Records is proud to re-release this remarkable album.
