A storm that is carried by passion - tight and at the same time delicate and with attention to detail. The records consists of massive an impulsive emotional modern post-hardcore: I would like to put the emphasis on “post” – because especially the guitar refuses to be hardcore: like an oversized balalaika it moans sad delay-melodies in the wind, while the other instruments lumber and grind and drag and clamor. I’m feeling reminded to the typical 90’s-DIY-Screamo sound. Back in the days, there were many bands like that, but nowadays this kind of sound has become rare or not enough bands play this well enough to get to me. THE TIDAL SLEEP seem to have set themself to this kind of desperate, angry and serious music to bring it back forward and back to the public.
